Our Transitional Program is a twice annual 10-week exploratory arts program that will expose artists on the autism spectrum ages 16+ to a variety of art mediums including drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, and botanical arts.

Classes are held on Wednesdays from 4-5:30pm.

• Classes will take place at Studio By The Tracks (301 20th St S Irondale AL 35210)

• Accepted students are invited to attend free of charge

• Classes will be led by teaching artists on our staff as well as professional artists from our region

• Classes will be designed to give participants a feel for what it’s like to be a part of a community arts studio, and our hope is that our Transitional Program artists will eventually be integrated into our Adult Program, where they will begin to receive income through commissions on sales of their artwork.
